Ongoing observations and individual learning journals I work closely alongside each individual child's parents/carers.
I use a daily diary for each child and provide ongoing reports regarding each child's areas of development. If necessary, a meeting will be arranged to discuss the child's progress.
The setting is adapted daily to cater for the the children within my care. Activities and experiences are planned regarding each child's age and stage of development.
By using an environment that works for the chid. This could be by using sand or water or music for example. I take time to get to know each individual child so that I can understand ways to allow each child to thrive at their own pace.
I have a quiet area for children to go to if needed. I also have a soft play area and activities and equipment to support all individual children. I am constantly observing children's progress and adapting the setting to suit.
By observing your child's development including your child's social behaviour. All findings are recorded and discussed with yourself in order to plan activities or stratagies for your child.
I risk assess all outings daily to safeguard all children and adults that are present. If a certain outing is not safe or suitable I will adjust the outing to suit all children.
Unfortuantely my doors are of standard size and the outside area is not currently suitable for a wheelchair
By working with you - settling in visits. This can vary depending on the child and their needs/age.
I track and monitor each child's progress and parents can discuss this with me daily - I use a book to record
