Right to Work checks
Safeguarding checks with the Local Authority

Complaints history
Two references from clients and/or past employers

If you choose a provider of care (home care or care home) as a self-funder and later become eligible for council-funded care, West Berkshire Council may not be able to continue with your chosen provider due to differences between private and council-commissioned rates.
