Elstree Pre-Prep is the co–educational Nursery and Pre-Prep department of Elstree School.  Founded in 1993, it is set alongside the main school within 150 acres of idyllic parkland and playing fields. It caters for around eighty girls and boys aged three to seven years.  

Our bright and airy classrooms, outdoor play and learning areas, kitchen garden and designated woodland area, provide a safe and stimulating area for every child.

Made up of four year groups – Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 – we welcome children from the term they turn three until they are seven. After this, they can continue their Elstree education in the Prep School.

Nursery Full time (5 days): 8.15am – 3.30pm                                          £4,340 per term Full time (5 days) with EY funding (approx.)                             £3,490 per term

Nursery Full day: 8.15am – 3.30pm (7.25 hours)                                           £920 per term Extended Morning with lunch: 8.15am – 1.00pm (4.75 hours)    £575 per term Morning: 8.15am – 11.30am (3.25 hours)                                        £450 per term  Extended Afternoon with lunch: 11.30am – 3.30pm (4 hours)     £500 per term Afternoon: 1.00pm – 3.30pm (2.5 hours)                                         £390 per term

Our Learning Support Department supports pupils with a range of learning difficulties to enable them to access the curriculum offered. A small team of specialist teachers provide one to one lessons which are sympathetically crafted to build self-confidence and help each pupil to achieve his or her potential.
