Berkshire Family Mediation
Berkshire Family Mediation has been offering mediation services to separated parents, families and divorcing couples in the Reading and Newbury area for over 40 years. Mediation is a safe, neutral place for people to work out their practical arrangements for children, property and finances upon or after separation. When communication has broken down, a professional mediator will make sure that everyone is listened to and understood. Our aim is to help people through stressful processes of divorce, separation and/or co-parenting in a supportive and constructive manner while keeping costs down as far as possible. Berkshire Family Mediation holds a Legal Aid contract, which means we can offer free mediation for eligible clients, and we are also signed up to the Family Mediation Voucher scheme funded by the Ministry of Justice, which contributes to funding for meetings about arrangements for children.
We offer meetings via video technology and in person in our offices. All our mediators are registered with the Family Mediation Council and we can sign court forms and signpost to other agencies as appropriate.
