Nature for Health is a new project at West Berkshire Council. The project aims to develop and deliver greenspace and nature activities which will promote and improve physical and mental health & wellbeing whilst reducing social isolation and loneliness by engaging and enabling everyone to become part of their local communities.

Shaw House have a number of raised beds on site which are being transformed into a community garden. This is an opportunity for everyone to get involved. Come and explore the benefits of being outdoors. Learning and share knowledge whilst getting to know your local community.

Activity Period

Group sessions take place every Thursday 10am until 12.30. Volunteers are also welcome to go along independently on other days when the house is open

    There are a number of raised beds which are accessible however do bear in mind that we are based outside so there is grass and gravel. The house has an accessible bathroom with lifts to access it.
