Mabric Childcare - ad-hoc, weekend and overnight

I offer ad-hoc childcare including weekend and overnight. I offer flexible childcare solutions to shift workers and people who otherwise struggle to find ad-hoc childcare for appointments and commitments.

I believe this is a unique service as one-off childcare requirements for emergencies, meetings, appointments and days out etc are often impossible to fulfill. To pay or offer other reward for childcare for more than 2hours in the providers home is not permitted, and by using a ofsted registered provider like myself you can be assured your child is left in safe care.

I worked as a full time childminder for 5years so I am very experienced and respected. I have excellent references. 

I also offer childcare provision for weddings and parties. 

Living in Central Newbury, I am a 49 year old mum of two school children who believes in learning through play and particularly the outdoor environment. I am full of enthusiasm, and very capable.

I am degree educated, and really enjoy the company of children, and developing their young minds. I really love spending time with young children, and am constantly thinking of new ideas to engage and develop them and have fun. I am also a leader with a local ‘Beavers’ group (now I to my third year). 

I simply adore babies and children, and nurturing their learning and development. I offer a home from home environment and have a 3-bed detached house with large garden, which is very close to several parks. I have a passion for the outdoor environment and exploration.

My rate is £10 an hour. I offer home-cooked nutritious meals and snacks. I am food safety trained and inspected by Environmental Health.

We have a pet hamster which the children like to watch and a very friendly golden retriever dog.
