  • Childcare 1 How does the setting identify children with additional needs or SEND

    I use WhatsApp as my daily diary for parents, we can communicate throughout the day. We can talk about any concerns or if extra helped is needed.

  • Childcare 2 How will I be informed / consulted about the way sin which my child is being supported

    Daily diary through WhatsApp. Anything we do, what your child has eaten or how much they have slept is all put in a message via WhatsApp with photos.

  • Childcare 3 How will the setting adapt the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum for my child’s needs

    I will adapt to each individual need, I will discuss with you how we can make it interesting and fun.

  • Childcare 4 What teaching strategies does the setting use for children with additional needs or learning difficulties

    I have books, play figures, sensory activities. I am happy to extend my toys if there are certain things that will help.

  • Childcare 5 What additional support does the setting provide for children with additional needs or SEND

    Each child is individual and I will support them as best I can and seek professional help if needed.

  • Childcare 6 How will the setting monitor my child’s progress and how will I be involved in this

    WhatsApp throughout the day with places we have been, people we have seen, food that has been eaten and any questions we can ask each other.

    All children will be included in all activities planned.

  • Childcare 8 How accessible is the building for children with mobility difficulties / wheelchair users

    I have a downstairs toilet. It is wheelchair accessible. Playroom downstairs.

    Lots of communication , I will help provide information how we can prepare for moving up.

    Regular communication with parents.
