Yes, The aim is to be as accessible as possible, whilst recognised that this is a paid-for by the individual service, so payment plans are offered.

No eligibility requirement. I offer a free 15 minute initial chat, at which the charges for what is agreed is made clear, and confirmation that the services I offer are suitable for you.

Anyone can self-refer. I can also invoice a company or funder directly. I will work with anyone who needs/wants it. Confidentiality maintained.

General 9 How will I know my child is safe using this service
I am a locally known individual, I have been a class teacher, and SENCO before furthering my specialist teacher career. I have enhanced CRB/DBS and I have professional membership and insurance. My aim is that you know what to expect before we work together. I have established working relationships with various exam centres and education providers.
Access Arrangements and Specialist SpLD assessor and Education and SEN Consultant (Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dyspraxia etc)
Offering a range of services for the individual, family, business or education setting:
> Dyslexia and Dyscalculia assessments
> Dyspraxia assessments for those aged 16+ years old (as per the DIDA 2018)
> DSA/Disabled Student ALlowance assessments and reports
> High intensity focused tutoring block 'packages'
> Mini-assessment packages - a more accurate 'screening' process, where full assessment is not sought
> Ability to work with all ages, and in all settings
> Familiarity and understanding of Home Education

Lindsey has worked in education since 2000, firstly as the class teacher in several primary schools, and latterly as SenCo. Her interest and experience in the field led to her being recruited by Dyslexia Action as an Education and Technology Specialist A fully qualified and experienced SpLD and SEN practitioner (currently fully up to date, and holding current and active APC, AMBDA, MDG and NATSENCO). Lindsey combines motherhood with working as an independent ‘Education and SEN Consultant’. and is focused on completing her master's degree. 85
With personal knowledge of SpLD and SEN, and with teaching experiences across all age ranges the assessments Lindsey offers include dyslexia assessments and dyscalculia for all ages, and dyspraxia/DCD (for over 16s only. Lindsey also undertakes DSA assessments and assessments for exams access. She also advises on, and offers, support for those involved with home education, . She is a certified Irlen® screener, Lindsey has an in-depth of knowledge of how best to utilize technology to support students, and the use of symbols such as PECS© and Widgit©, to help best support students. , as well as home education and exam access arrangements.
Lindsey strongly believes that removing barriers to bring back the ‘sparkle’ into peoples lives, and in supporting individuals with having their neurodiverse strengths recognised.
Lindsey is a professional member of the British Dyslexia Association (AMBDA) and the has AMBDAD (dyscalculia), as well as experience with Access Arrangements for both school centre candidates as well Home Educated and Private Candidates at Private exam centres.
