All individuals will have a learning disability and be over the age of 18
Various types of need are catered for as we support individuals in their own homes with their own tenancies
We currently have links with a private landlord and the buildings currently available for us are not wheelchair accessible.

Referrals must be made either to our landline number or directly to Theresa Porter the Operations manager theresa.p@thinkempathy.co.uk
Theresa Porter will complete the initial assessment and put together an offer of support if appropriate.

General 4 What is your service standard for responding to referrals / accessing services, include timescales for responding to referrals and accessing services
A response will be made to referrers within 24 hours or by the next working day. Assessments will be completed in a planned manner depending on the individual circumstances and best onterests

General 8 Feedback and complaints procedure
Feedback will be welcome from all and feedback systems will be made available regularly to staff, service users, families and stakeholders.
There is a complaints policy and procedure in pace also in easy read format
Complaints will be responded to promptly and all operational processes including complaints will be reviewed every quarter.

General 9 How will I know my child is safe using this service
Safeguarding policy and procedure in place reflecting local authority policy and procedure
All staff will have training on safeguarding and will be recruited as required to promote safety as per schedule 3
Good relationships will be prompted with family including facilitating regular contact
Service users compatibility will be paramount when considering offering a service/support
All areas will be risk assessed to manage any identified risks
Thinkempathy Limited
Thinkempathy provides both live in care, Domiciliary support and supported living services. Thinkempathy offers support to individuals with Learning Disabilities and associated needs in their own homes. We will work alongside a private landlord and housing associations to ensure the service users have a tenancy supporting the with the rights and responsibilities that this brings. Thinkempathy will support the individual to maximise their potential within a safe and nurturing culture with staff that have the skills and experience required.

17.76 per hour

According to needs of the service user. Providing 24 hour support services. Competitive hourly rate for one to one hours
