Disability Employment Adviser
The Disability Employment Advisers are available in majority of Jobcentres. The objective of Disability Employment Advisers is to support Jobcentre customers who have health conditions and disabilities to prepare for work, move into work and remain in work.
Disability Employment Advisers share their knowledge, skills and awareness with their jobcentre colleagues and Jobcentre customers to support them into work.
Disability Employment Advisers maintain contact with local support organisations, charities, DWP providers, Local Authority services to make sure awareness of their services can be passed on to and shared with colleagues to ensure our customers are made aware of the services available to support them and their needs.
Activity Period
Monday to Thursday 9am to 4pm. The email in box may not be manned at all times, but messages will be picked up and replied to as soon as possible
