West Berkshire Youth Forum
Please note: The SEND Youth Forum has been paused for a period of six months. This will be reviewed in June/July 2025 and updates will be shared here. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
The West Berkshire Youth Forum is a group for young people with SEND in West Berkshire who are aged between 15 and 25. We give young people with SEND a say on the services which are provided to them.
We give young people the chance to have a free meal out, meet new people and have fun! We meet on the last Tuesday of every month for 2 hours at a local restaurant.
We work in partnership with the local authority to co-produce services which affect young people with SEND, this includes:
- West Berkshire’s SEND Strategy.
- Promoting disability awareness with different services.
- Transition to Adulthood.
- The Local Offer
The Youth Forum also gives us a platform to raise awareness about issues which matter to us.
