as I use baby's days I am able to easily check and monitor how the children are doing in my care and weather they are meeting their learning goals on eyfs.
I will discuss with you each step it the way what i plan on doing with your child and why I will be doing it.
i Make sure I set aside more time to do things with the children and have reduced the amount of toys I have and opted for more open ended play and loose items
I never work to my full numbers allowed by ofsted which allows me more time to spend with the children individually. I have also just started my diploma in SEND i keep in regular contact with the parents with regards to the children’s progress and always ask for feed back and ask if there is any thing else they woild like me to do. I always make sure that I am working to the parents and child’s requirement.
I currently use babys days which can be used as an app where I record how the children are settling in and where they are progressing with in the eyfs
I make sure each activity or outing is suitable for everyone in my setting so no one is left out I research my trips to make sure every where is accessible
I have no steps leading to my home and the front door is large enough for wheel chair access. We also have a downstairs toilet for easier access.
I would do this by filling out a moving on pack which would inform the new setting of how the child has settled in, likes and dislikes, what the child's behaviour is like, how they react to different things and information on their eyfs stages.
i make sure there is plenty of time at pick up and drop off to discuss things with the parent and I’m also contactable at of the time
If you are considering a place for your child please contact Catherine Nash on 07889756369
I have a compliments and complaints book which is kept with in the setting and available at all times for people to fill out.
