YOUTH CLUB IS CURRENTLY CLOSED DUE TO COVID.

Funky Thursday operates every Thursday during term-time from 6pm to 8pm.

Activities are based on what the young people want to do and include:

  • games evenings
  • quiz nights
  • trips to restaurants
  • art activities
  • cookery

They follow a programme of events for the term, designed from the young people's ideas.

A tuck shop is also available.

What is your service standard for responding to referrals/accessing services? (include timescales for responding to referrals and accessing services)

We aim to respond and arrange a home visit within three weeks of receiving a referral, unless it is urgent. Children are placed as soon as possible.  The current wait is two to four weeks - Youth Club spaces available.

Feedback and complaints procedure

The service conducts an annual customer satisfaction survey which provides an opportunity to provide feedback and comments on the service. How will I know my child will be safe using this service?

A registration form is completed detailing all of your child’s needs. All staff are fully trained and undertake additional medical training when a need arises. We are inspected by Ofsted. Risk Assessments are carried out on all activities and equipment – we have a high staff to child ration and use trained and checked volunteers to provide one to one support for the children. All staff are subject to safer recruitment procedures and are DBS checked and trained.
