HomeChoice West Berkshire - Housing Points Scheme, bidding for properties

Add to My Shortlist

HomechoiceWB is the Choice Based Lettings Scheme for West Berkshire.

HomechoiceWB gives you more choice about where you want to live. In the past, West Berkshire Council selected a property for you. With the new system, you can decide which properties you would like to be considered for. Asking to be considered for one of the homes advertised is called 'bidding'.

Everybody accepted onto the Common Housing Register can take part and bid for homes in West Berkshire. The properties advertised belong to Housing Associations who are our partners. West Berkshire Council does not own any properties which are available through Choice Based Lettings.

Properties will be advertised on a weekly basis. You will be able to see basic details about each property available.

If you would like information about other Housing Options please visit West Berkshire Council's Housing website. A wide range of housing information is available including information on Private Rented Accommodation, Threshold Loans, Shared Ownership and Improvement Grants.

If you are homeless or about to become homeless, please contact the Housing Options Team, the Duty Officer is available on 01635 519 588.
