After School Club: Games, Music, Film, Art, Communication Activities, Individual Projects- Friday non term time

Last updated: 17/01/2022

Fun Friday Club produces opportunities for young people and adults to have fun, chill out and be creative.  The group has developed a hobby club for participants to bring and share their hobbies and explore opportunities with others to have fun with the various hobbies.

Some of the participants took part in the Arts Award last year, while others decided to create their own music videos.  There are lots of opportunities with experienced staff to support and for some after a hard week at school or activities a bit of a chill out time is essential, play board games, listen to music and chat.

It is a brilliant way to kick start the weekend!

Interakt also offers one to one support in sessions, travel training, out in the community, CV writing and job coaching.

Referral Details

Interakt does not require a referral as our sessions are for everyone and if an individual has very complex needs then with support from WBC Adult Social Care a specific care plan will be commissioned.

Other notes

For those transitioning from College to Adult Social Care contact WBC Adult Social Care and request a list from the transitioning team which will have details of Day Providers, their activities, sessions, days and times.  Remember that your provision is your choice therefor make time to research and book a free taster session with those providers which you want to explore further.  For those already in the Adult Social Care sector who require another service from a different provider to what they already have, contact Adult Social Care and ask to speak to your social worker or care manager with your query or request.  The most important thing is for each individual to access a service that is of their own choice that each individual is informed of a variety of provisions in order to make an informed choice which works best for them.
