Carer's Allowance

Carer's Allowance is for people (16 or over) who spend at least 35 hours a week caring for a severely disabled person.  It can affect other benefits you or the person you care for are receiving.

Visit the GOV.UK website to find out if you are eligible and how to make a claim.  You will also find information about other benefits you may also be able to apply for.

If you are not eligible you may be eligible for Carer's Credit.
