Dementia support for young people - YPWD (Berkshire) Admiral Nurses for Carers

A website for younger people with dementia (people of working age) within Wokingham, Reading and West Berkshire.

The Admiral Nurse will provide a robust nursing assessment and work to address the needs of the carer; this can be through providing emotional and/or practical support. Intervention can be for 3 visits or many years; this is dependent on the individual.

The website publishes up-to-date information about regular events in the area which are relevant to younger people with dementia and their families / carers. There is access to information about the different forms of dementia and how to best cope with any issues which may arise.
