Staff supporting sessions are trained within areas of SEN knowledge and the majority have several years experience of working with children and young people with additional needs.

All staff have enhanced DBS checks and most will have a First Aid Paediatric certificate.

Staff are trained within the charity to be aware of different additional needs, how those may affect the behaviour we see and to consider underlying reasons.

Staff are trained to support parents with benefit applications, EHCP applications and other paperwork that may be helpful to a parent of a child or young person with additional needs.

More experienced staff at each session will be on hand should parents request help or advice for ways to support their child or young person with additional needs.
