- Description
West Berkshire Mencap’s Your Choice Services currently has two supported living units in Newbury. Heffernan House has 7 self-contained individual flats for which service users hold a tenancy. Stella Maris House has 5 individual flats. Each house also has a communal kitchen and lounge area, as well as outside
Service users are supported as per their assessed needs to live independently in their own homes.
Currently both supported living units are full, although we are opening a new house with seven individual flats early in 2023. There will therefore be vacant flats available and we welcome enquires.
West Berkshire Mencap are always looking at opportunities to open further supported living units in the future. The cost of rental of the flats/rooms and costs of services would be agreed on a project by project basis.
