Berkshire West CCG - Care Homes information and resources
The NHS Berkshire West Clinical Commissioning Group work in partnership with local health and social care providers to provide support to 54 Care Homes, across Berkshire West. It is the Berkshire West CCG's vision to make sure there is a vibrant high-quality care home market in Berkshire West, delivering care that embraces the national nursing values of patient care (the six Cs): Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage and Commitment.
Training is offered to care homes through a number of routes. In order to provide the greatest care for residents, care home staff need to have the right mix of skills and expertise. Berkshire West CCG are committed to providing training and helping staff to develop their knowledge base where possible.
Care Home - resources - A wide range of resources are available to support the safe quality care given by teams to residents.
Hospital transfer to care homes - The Hospital Transfer Pathway is designed to ensure that residents living in Berkshire West care homes receive safe and effective treatment should they need to go into hospital in an emergency.
Safeguarding Adults - Raise a Safeguarding Concern to get help for adults at risk of harm from neglect, abuse or not being looked after properly
