Recovery in Mind, improving the lives of adults living with a variety of mental health challenges
Last updated: 08/12/2022
Recovery in Mind is a community organisation, where adults living in West Berkshire get the opportunity to learn life long skills and tools to improve and manage their mental health and wellbeing. The founder Angela Ryan began Recovery in Mind in 2016, after going through her own 'lived' experience of mental health challenges; 'By gaining hope and taking back control, people become experts in their own recovery and can move on with their lives despite their challenges.'
Herself and the friendly trainers are devoted to supplying free, quality courses and workshops teaching people a variety of topics such as; self-compassion, positive thinking, creativity and The 5 Ways to Wellbeing to name but a few.
It’s an opportunity to learn how to re-educate your thought patterns and feelings so you learn to cope with life’s challenges again and lead a fulfilled life.
'I'm in a much better place after completing the Recovery in Mind course and I’m achieving my goals. The workshops are fantastic and I've made new like minded friends as a result. I would highly recommend Recovery in Mind, thank you to the team!' Student testimonial, 2021
