Bik Lee-Robinson - Childminder
Children that join me experience a loving home environment located in Burghfield Common for them to learn through play. Children are treated as individuals and we spend time indoors, outdoors and attending weekly activities for a varied, yet educational time.

Early Years Private, Voluntary & Independent Settings
Working together with parents/carers to work towards offering consistent care
A daily diary is completed, as well as a handover at drop off and pick up, along with a learning journey of your child whilst they are in my care
A learning journey is completed for each EYFS child to track their development in the 7 stages of learning, aiming towards their next steps.
Working together with parents/carers to support children towards their goals as each child is an individual.
Consistent care and continuous communication. I attend workshops or training when I can and join webinars
A learning journey is completed for each EYFS child to track their development in the 7 stages of learning, aiming towards their next steps. Parents/carers have an input too with regular reviews.
Adapting activities to suit individual children who may need additional support. Risk assessments are carried out for trips and so therefore thought and care is considered for trips.
There are no ramps at my home setting so is not wheelchair friendly
The aim of my care for pre-school children are to get them 'school ready' by tracking their development for us to reach their EYFS goals to assist in their transition. This is also helped through role play, chatting and demonstrations
Parents/Carers play a key role when assisting with their children in my care
Myself, Bik Lee-Robinson as I work as an independent Childminder from my home setting
I am always available to chat during drop offs and pick ups and I ask parents/carers to complete a questionnaire for their feedback once their child has been attending my setting for a few weeks
