Arts and Crafts - Holybrook Community Centre

Join in for a great afternoon of arts and/or crafts activities.

There is no commitment to regular attendance and no membership fee, though many people come every week to join in the relaxed, friendly atmosphere and try out some arty or crafty activities.   There is a drop-in fee of £2.50 per session (this is often discounted to only £1 - please check the web link for current details).

A number of skilled craft workers are happy to advise on projects such as card-making and glass painting.   A dedicated group of artists, at all levels of experience, will be around to give advice if it's wanted.

These are untutored sessions.  No support staff are provided.

The group is run by volunteers: You are asked to clear up after yourselves and respect the equipment.

Tea, coffee and cake or biscuits are available at very reasonable prices. We are a not-for-profit organisation:  We just aim to cover our costs for venue and basic arts & crafts materials.  Things like paper, pencils, paint and card-making items are included in the drop-in fee.  There are charges per item for things like glass and china (for glass & ceramic painting).  Most artists like to bring their own materials.
