Autism Berkshire Drop-in Advice for Parents and Carers

Members of our family support team attend coffee mornings for parents and carers at the Swings & Smiles playcentre in Thatcham, to offer free drop-in advice about autism and to answer questions about our services.

We normally attend the coffee morning on the first Friday of every month, from 9.30am to 11am, at the charity's base, A Place to Play, in Lower Way, RG19 3RR

Free drop-in advice sessions are also held on Tuesdays during school terms from 10am to 12.30pm at our office in the centre of Reading, where our team will be happy to answer autism-related questions and talk about local support services for individuals and families living with autism. Please note that the session in Reading on the second Tuesday of the month will be in a support group format, including short presentations from visiting speakers or members of our family support team.

These services are free of charge, thanks to funding from the Berkshire West NHS Clinical Commissioning Group.

The drop-in sessions in Reading are open to parents and carers living in Reading, Wokingham and West Berkshire. Click here for details of car parking near the office and public transport links.
