Homeless drop in centre in Reading - CIRDIC

Churches in Reading drop in centre (CIRDIC) is for the homeless in Reading. The Centre offers a wide range of support services to guests: 

  • Hot meals
  • Clean clothing and toiletries
  • Bath and shower facilities
  • Provision of a safe postal address
  • Use of a telephone
  • Provision of confirmation of identity
  • Listening time
  • Regular access to and links with specialist services such as health care and housing
  • Moving-on projects designed to help guests improve their lives and happiness

CIRDIC offers to adults an open door free service where guests are asked to behave reasonably.  CIRDIC guests include:

  • Homeless people
  • Substance abusers and sufferers of addiction
  • People with mental health problems
  • People living in poor housing
  • Unemployed
  • People in serious financial difficulty

Opening times:

Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays 10:00am to 3:30pm

Saturdays from 6:00pm to 7:00pm with limited services

Sunday mornings 9:00am to 10:00am for quiet time and our guests' spiritual needs.
