Dance classes for Parkinson's sufferers - Corn Exchange Learning Centre
This programme is proven to support people with Parkinson’s to develop confidence and strength, whilst temporarily relieving some participants of symptoms in everyday life.
Classes are expressive, creative and promote feelings of freedom from the physical and social constraints of having Parkinson’s. We will explore a different styles of dance, sometimes using improvisation, lyrical and drama as well as a set repertoire from The English National Ballet and Mark Morris Dance Group.
Suitable for those that are complete beginners, for any ability - both seated and standing, no dance experience necessary.
