Recovery in Mind - free courses for carers
‘Recovery in Mind’ Welcomes Carers
‘Recovery in Mind’ is a social enterprise offering free-of-charge courses to adults living in West Berkshire, to enable them to self-manage their own mental health and wellbeing.
Since starting in 2016, over 350 students have attended, and found that the courses have helped them to regain hope and control over their lives, and to make the most of life’s opportunities.
The last five months have been challenging for everyone, but carers have perhaps been under additional pressure, in continuing to care for vulnerable relatives at a time when their usual support systems may not have been available. Covid-19 has made an already demanding situation even more challenging, and potentially isolating, for many.
We invite any carer who may be struggling with their own mental health, to consider enrolling on our courses, to give themselves valuable time and space to address their own needs.
For more information, and to enrol on a course, please visit Recovery in Mind's website.
