Every child matters, every child learns at their own pace, we encourage learning though play and speech. 

My setting is a detached 4 Bedroom house that's had an open plan living space down stairs,which gives the children room to move and play happily. We also have a Ed flat garden which is big enough to play happily with a two slide and swing climbing apparatus, for children to safely learn to climb and move. 

We are in a housing esate with easy access to parks and other amenities.

we watch children when in play, conversations and activities

2: How will I be informed / consulted about the ways in which my child is being supported?

Yes though a computer system called babysdays and though talking every day on collection.

3: How will the setting adapt the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum for my child's needs?

We go on training days when needed, we have regular contact with our early years team via emails etc if anything has changed , we also have regular updates from ofsted if anything new has come out or any changes.

4: What teaching strategies does the setting use for children with additional needs or learning difficulties?

We have sensensory toys we adapt the tuff tray activities to acomandate all the children.

5: What additional support does the setting provide for children with additional needs or SEND?

i lease with the drs and health professions when needed

6: How will the setting monitor my child's progress and how will I be involved in this?

we do this through my babysdays computer system which is emailed to you. I will also talk to you about progress and you can talk to me about any concerns you have.

7: How do you ensure children with additional needs or SEND can be included in the same activities as other children, including trips?

We have a large open area in the lounge and dining room to allow  children to play and move we also have two tables for children at different heights to sit at. Most if my tots are at an accessible leaves if not the child can see what he/she would like and ask for it Though pointing or speech.

8: How accessible is the building for children with mobility difficulties / wheelchair users?

We have an accessible front path to access The front door which is wheelchair width along with all the foot entrances in the house. We have a down stairs toliet and if need be a stair lift can be put into access the upstairs.

9: How will you support my child's transition to a new setting or school?

We learn through play. I encourage kindness and sorting problems out with each other. We have the children’s name on his/hers box and on their drinking bottles so they learn to recognise their name. We also enoursge writing their name if they are ready by doing pencil control over dots or yellow pen. We introduce cursive writing if the child is ready,we do phonics and we have books available at all times.  We talk about moving on to school though play and books, we also go out and about to learn about the outside world.

10: How does the setting assess the overall effectiveness of its SEN provision and how can parents / carers take part in this evaluation?

i think we are good at assesing children with sen needs in my setting

On my babysdays computor system there is boxes for your feedback, I also send out questionnaires and your more than welcome to chat with me on drop off or collection if you've any concerns
