Dogs for Good (previously Dogs for the Disabled) - Thames Valley
Specially selected dogs are trained to assist people with disabilities to carry out tasks they find difficult to do by themselves. The dogs are trained to suit the individual needs of the person, giving independence and companionship.
Assistance dogs can be trained to work for adults with many differing and complex disabilities, support children with a range of disabilities and also help a child with autism remain calm and focused in busy places.
