The police are the only agency that are able to act immediately to ensure a person is safe and protected from harm.

West Berkshire Council social care is open from 08:30-1700 Monday to Thursday and 08:30 to 16:30 Fridays and closed during bank holidays.  For all adult and childrens social care and safeguarding emergencies outside of office hours in West Berkshire that cannot wait until the next day working day, contact the:
