Our setting is a purpose built cabin with ramp access located on our property, we have a large garden area for exploring and playing and a variaty of outdoor toys, we are located near the train station with a few local parks avalible as well as only a short trip to the market and libary.

Our focus is to treat all children as developing individuals in a way that best suits and encourages their personal needs

we closely monitor every child in our care through develpolment trackers and learning jornals, we review every 3 months this gives us a idea of where they are within the EYFS stages and it will highlight if there are any areas of concern.

2: How will I be informed / consulted about the ways in which my child is being supported?

daily discussions are held with the parents, 3 monthly reviews, ILPs and next steps are constantly available on your childs online learning account

3: How will the setting adapt the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum for my child's needs?

depending on your childs needs, we may decide to alter our ratios/numbers to better suit your child, we also may adapt change the layout of the setting to make it even more accessable to all.

4: What teaching strategies does the setting use for children with additional needs or learning difficulties?

we use a variaty of ways to encourage and teach the children we allow the children to self select and try to expand on their own personal play/ideas, we encourage and adapt the setting to the needs of the children.

5: What additional support does the setting provide for children with additional needs or SEND?

we try to support children and parents in a variaty of ways depending on the individual requirements

6: How will the setting monitor my child's progress and how will I be involved in this?

we use a online system to keep in contact with parents, the childrens develpoment can be tracked here, and parents can add observations, next steps and comments

7: How do you ensure children with additional needs or SEND can be included in the same activities as other children, including trips?

dependant on the childs needs we adapt our activities and setting to try to suit the child.

8: How accessible is the building for children with mobility difficulties / wheelchair users?

we have a large open plan garden, ramp and open plan cabin we work from

9: How will you support my child's transition to a new setting or school?

we support the child in a variaty of activities, visits and more dependant on their requirements

10: How does the setting assess the overall effectiveness of its SEN provision and how can parents / carers take part in this evaluation?

parents regulary answer feedback and questionnaires about the setting they are also invited to leave reviews on our page. we are ofsted rated good and feel this is a perfect reflection of our practice as with anything in life there should always be room left for development and improvement.
