Educafe provides a safe space to meet, eat and learn at our FREE pop-up community cafe at Newbury Library with:

  • free tea and cake for all
  • free English conversation
  • free activities and expert advice for parents in our Parents Village
  • knit & natter
  • volunteer opportunities
  • a knowledge exchange space for local organisations and residents
  • seated wellbeing sessions for all (from 2.15-2.45pm upstairs in the Carnegie Room

We currently address the need for English language support courses for diverse ethnic communities in West Berkshire to enable them to access public services, and to improve employability and work skills. We promote social inclusion and we are proud to celebrate the incredible diversity of West Berkshire through welcoming everybody, without barriers each week.
