Heritage Open Days - West Berkshire Museum

Last updated: 11/05/2022

Heritage Open Days is England's biggest heritage festival. It celebrates our fantastic history, architecture and culture; offering people the chance to see hidden places and try out new experiences - all of which are free to explore. Explore a normally closed-off part of West Berkshire Museum, the attic of the Cloth Hall, which is accessed via a steep and narrow staircase. There will be an interpretation sheet available for your self-led tour. Please note: a limited number of people will be allowed access to the Cloth Hall and Cloth Hall attic at any one time so you may have to wait a short time before you can visit these spaces. The laminated interpretation material that accompanies a visit to the Cloth Hall attic will be sanitised on return, and there are handwashing facilities and hand gel available just outside the Cloth Hall. Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 September | 10.30am - 3pm | Free, drop-in | West Berkshire Museum
