The Autism Group - Pokémon Club for young people aged 11 - 25 (Berkshire College of Agriculture)
We offer special interest groups for young people aged 11 to 25 who are on the autism spectrum.
Many young people on the spectrum have special interests which they would like to share with others, but lack the social skills and confidence needed to do so. We can offer opportunities to help make those connections in a structured and understanding environment.
We cater for children and young people that are of mainstream ability, but need support with their social understanding.
The groups activities are based on Pokemon trading card games and video games plus selected games on the WiiU. Participants may bring one friend or sibling within the same age range on condition that they share the same special interest and a place is available.
We offer a parent support group at the same time and location.
