Our Children’s Department currently supports over 100 children from all over Berkshire (including Reading) aged from birth to 18 years, all of whom suffer from a severe diagnosed eye condition. 75% of our younger members also have additional special needs. Our Families’ Support Co-ordinator provides information and advice on products and services relating to visual impairment, benefits and allowances, as well as organising a comprehensive timetable of sporting, educational and fun activities, all tailor-made to include tactile and sensory experiences for the children and their families which are held regularly throughout the year.
