MOVEability Specialist Exercise and Movement Classes

Last updated: 08/11/2022

Award winning specialist exercise and movement classes for people with conditions causing chronic pain, fatigue and limited mobility.

MOVEability is a local award-winning social enterprise organisation running specialist exercise and movement classes for people with conditions causing chronic pain, fatigue and limited mobility, including but not limited to Fibromyalgia, Arthritis, COPD, Parkinson’s, Long Covid and Obesity.

What we do

We run a variety of on-site and live online Seated Chair Exercise and Dancercise classes, including classes in conjunction with a local charity - Get Berkshire Active. As a social enterprise, we are committed to keeping our classes accessible and cost-effective, with costs ranging from £2-£3.75 per class.

We are also running a special programme funded by a grant from Parkinson’s UK.  Commencing November 2022 for a period of 3 months, people with Parkinson’s can join our fortnightly on-site class at the St Georges Church Annex in Wash Common, Newbury for FREE, subject to taking part in a short and confidential survey about the benefits of this exercise.

For anyone who cannot make it to the St George’s Church Annex venue we also run weekly Zoom classes on Mondays and Thursdays at 10.30am and can offer a limited number of FREE places to people with Parkinson’s through the funding provided by Parkinson’s UK.

Head to our on-site classes page or contact Debbie at MOVEability for more information.
