Calvert Trust Exmoor set in 44 acres of spectacular landscape on the edge of Exmoor. Its objective was to enable people of all ages with physical, learning, sensory and behavioural disabilities to achieve their potential through adventurous activities. That remains our purpose today.
Our five-star, award winning centre offers great facilities for your holiday, with accessible accommodation, exciting activities, and delicious food prepared daily on site by our qualified chefs.

Our visitors have a range of abilities and many have multiple and high needs (see photograph). We welcome all ages, from the very young to the very elderly. We work closely with other organisations including schools and charities to reach those who are likely to benefit the most.
We also give carers a much-needed break from their usual routines and responsibilities, and one mother told us about the difference the visit had made.

Finding an accessible holiday for all the family to enjoy can be a real challenge. Situated on a modern converted Victorian farm, our facilities are five star accredited by the Visit England National Accessible Scheme, with a wide range of adaptive equipment to make your stay with us more comfortable. Our accommodation is set around a secure and idyllic courtyard, including en-suite single, twin and triple rooms. We are also host to a number of self-contained apartments for a more exclusive feel. Other facilities include a spacious dining room and conservatory, swimming pool, jacuzzi, and sensory room. Social spaces with beautiful views across Wistlandpound Reservoir and a converted barn with evening entertainment and fully licenced bar.
All our activities are on-site and delivered by our specially trained, skilled and friendly team. ‘It’s what you CAN do that counts’ sums up our approach. Your visit can include accessible cycling around Wistlandpound Reservoir, spending time at the stables petting the horses and carriage riding, scaling the climbing wall, flying down the zip wire and much more!
