Community Connections West Berkshire for the benefit of BAMER community
Community Connections is a community interest company (CIC) set up to offer advice and signposting to the black, Asian, minority, ethnic, refugee (BAMER) community and other marginalised, vulnerable and socially isolated people in the district.
Look out for our Pop-up Cafes throughout West Berkshire. Community Connections pop-up cafes offer a safe meeting place, with free refreshments. We provide an advice and signposting service to support the health and wellbeing of the most disadvantaged, marginalised and socially isolated members of West Berkshire.
Our advice service addresses issues that promote social inclusion for the public benefit. Community Connections advocate the Advancement of Health, Wellbeing and Saving Lives.
Community Connections invite the community to join in and share the issues that matter to them.
Education and Language Courses
Community Connections offer free training and educational opportunities to advance education for the public benefit with a focus on both the provision of formal classroom education and the provision of a broader range of educational opportunities.
We offer workshops and courses to support individuals enabling them to get employment and become self-sufficient and part of the community. These include: Job clubs, vocational training programmes and community capacity building.
