SEN Teen Club!

A monthly TEEN Club for young people aged 12 to 18 years with special educational needs such as aspergers, autism, dyslexia, anxiety, OCD, ADHD and learning difficulties etc. No diagnosis is required. Siblings may also be able to attend (please ask us about spaces).

Session runs from 6.15pm to 7.45pm usually on the 3rd Wednesday of the month.

Children must be able to access this activity on an adult to child ratio of 1:8. (We are unable to provide one to one support).

The aim of the club is to encourage socialising and making friends, plus getting out of the house for a few hours!

We have hired Chieveley Village Hall, which provides us with plenty of room, a quiet space and safe outside areas to use.

£3.00 per child per session.

A small disposable snack and drink will be provided for each individual child. Children may also like to bring their own filled & labelled water bottle.

*Teens will begin to design this club to provide the activities they wish to do! This may sometimes involve going out and about for trips.*

This session is for Teens to attend without parents. We are unable to allow parents into the venue (partly due to Covid requirements and also due to our funding requirements and policies that all adults present will be fully DBS checked by our charity).

All new children/young people need to sign up and meet with a member of the team before your booking can be confirmed. This gives each young person the chance to meet some staff, ask questions and assess whether we are able to meet your child's needs.

All sign up's and meetings are currently taking place online and using Zoom.
