Mencap - day activities for adults in Reading
Adult day activity service led by the people who use it who decide how their service is run and what activities they do.
Some of the activities which members have taken part in include yoga, rugby, climbing, zumba, tennis, cooking, drama and crafts, as well as getting out and about in the community, or just enjoying a trip to the park or a local garden centre.
The service runs at 21 Alexandra Road on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9.30am to 4pm. The Tuesday group is specially for 18 to 30 year olds.
The Coffee Club meets every Monday 10.00 - 1.00pm
Gateway Club meets on a Tuesday evening from 7.15pm – 9.15pm.
