West Berkshire Homeless (Newbury area)

Last updated: 17/01/2022

A community based charity in West Berkshire set up to assist the homeless back into work and accommodation and support those as necessary to the services which can help them.  West Berkshire Homeless are still continuing to fund and run three half way houses and help others into private accommodation - also assisting those in Two Saints who are ready to move on.

An exciting new phase is beginning for West Berkshire Homeless and its clients. Still maintaining the "moving on houses" WBH are also working hard to support those who have been independently housed by offering a befriending service. Clients who are struggling to cope with tenancies and bills can drop in to the Quaker House on a Monday evening to discuss their worries and work with a befriender on an ongoing basis to assist them moving forward.
