VOLUNTEERING
If you would like to find out more about being a volunteer please contact via Volunteer Centre West Berkshire, Broadway House, 4-8 The Broadway Newbury, Berkshire RG14 1BA or email recruitment@looseendsnewbury.org
Loose Ends is a drop-centre in Newbury serving food to the homeless and vulnerable. The preparation and serving of healthy, hot meals is the group's main function but groceries, tins, toiletries and clean clothes are also offered to all those in need.
The volunteers strive to provide a safe, friendly atmosphere where people can socialise. Clients are often homeless or ‘sofa surfing’, may have addictions, suffer from a mental illness or are on low incomes.
