Dementia Cafe & Carers Support Group - Fair Close Centre Newbury

Fair Close Centre Dementia Café is currently held on every 1st and 2nd Wednesday of each month between 10.30am – 11.45am.
Initially launched as a partnership with Age UK Berkshire, Dementia-Friendly West Berkshire, and Berkshire Healthcare Foundation Trust, Dementia Café now has a dedicated Dementia-qualified Café Coordinator, Tamsin Hudson. Tamsin also coordinates the monthly Memory Café at the Corn Exchange in Newbury on the 3rd Wednesday of every month, in partnership with the Ageing Creatively Team.
Dementia Café at Fair Close Centre has an entertaining and informative range of Musicians, Craft sessions and Speaker sessions (on topics that are relevant and beneficial to those living with Dementia and their Carers) booked throughout the year.
Tamsin Hudson, the Dementia Café Coordinator, is always present at Dementia Café in order to provide free Carer Support and information on Dementia-related local services.
Fair Close Centre also run a very delicious two course Lunch Club every day from Noon that Dementia Café attendees are more than welcome to book in for via hello@fairclosecentre.org or Thudson@fairclosecentre.org.

- Dementia Cafe Carer Support Group run by Tamsin Hudson, runs online via Zoom for Dementia Cafe Carers on 4th Wednesday of each month.
This group is free to Dementia Cafe Carers and is included in the entrance fee for Dementia Cafe at Fair Close Centre (£2.50 per person, incl. tea/coffee and freshly made cakes).
