My SpeakerFriend - Volunteers wanted

The My SpeakerFriend project has been so successful we are looking for some more lovely volunteers to come on board to join our positive and enthusiastic small group.

COVID has widened the digital divide, leaving lots of people experiencing feelings of loneliness or isolation. MySpeakerFriend supports our residents who are not digitally enabled to stay connected, maintain their interests and promotes active listening.The project provides an easy to use non-digital speaker along with regular deliveries of a memory stick with a variety of musical and spoken word recordings. This helps keep people connected, promotes active listening and helps them to maintain their interests - we have had lovely feedback from people using the speakersIf you could help with delivering memory sticks, sourcing content, making voice recordings etc,
