A class suitable for all ages and abilities with free parking and disabled access at Alice Bye Court, Bluecoats, Thatcham, RG18 4AE
Who can attend
- Wheelchair Users
- Those who have been sedentary and want to ease back into exercise gently
- People with underlying health conditions (eg: arthritis, ME, MS, Fibromyalgia, COPD) Those in rehabilitation from illness/operations
- Anyone who wants to improve their physical and mental health in an inclusive and accessible way.
More about the class
Running every Thursday at 2pm, these fun sessions to popular tunes, show exercises from front & side views and offer different levels to follow according to ability. An hour is allowed for the whole session, with an intro, followed by around 45 minutes of exercise consisting of:
- A warm up routine
- Mobilising Exercises
- Aerobic Exercises
- Strengthening Exercises
- Cool down
Stay afterward with a complimentary cuppa and biscuit to socialise and make new friends.
Sessions are at a cost of £4 on a ‘pay as you go’ basis, which is payable on the door.

Going along to Alice Bye court on a Thursday for seated exercises has not just improved our mobility but also increased our social circle. After the exercise we have a well deserved cup of tea and a chat which is just as important. Mark Lillycrop
